About TransferKu

From spice routes to digital bridges

We are based in Cirebon, a port on Java's north coast where traders from China, Arabia and across the archipelago have met for centuries. The corridors we serve today follow many of the same routes.

PT Graha Remitansi Indonesia builds the payment layer underneath: licensed, compliant and engineered for the institutions that move money for others.

More about the company

"Built from Indonesia, out."

Our view: the best cross-border infrastructure for Indonesia is built by people who run Indonesian payments every day.

Case study

Built together: paying Indonesian airlines without cards

A Hong Kong-based online travel agency

  1. 01

    The problem

The agency paid for bookings through a global card solution, but Indonesian airlines do not accept it, which made paying them difficult.

  2. 02

    Built together

We worked with the agency to understand its payment flow, then set it up with local payout capability in Indonesia.

  3. 03

    The outcome

The agency now pays the airlines directly by local IDR transfer to their bank accounts, so card acceptance is no longer an obstacle.
